8 hours ago, I asked for a definition of "Spiritual" or "Spirituality."
I received 5 answers, and some sounded re-worded from a different source.
I would like you to tell me in your own words from your own mind, what is YOUR definition of either or both of those words.
I put this up again for (assuming) others to read and hopefully answer. Thanks.

Spirituality is something I do not understand and have a very hard time defining. I'm only saying this because you specifically put atheists in your question.

Spirituality: A concern with matters of the spirit/soul, either as separate from physical existence, or as they intersect with physical existence.

This covers religion (the social pursuit of spirituality), the solitary pursuit of spirituality, and certain branches of philosophy as well. It is deliberately not very specific.

Atheist - an opposite to theist like gnostic and agnostic. Someone who does not believe in existance of God and is convinced that there is no God, unlike agnostic who is somewhere in between and does not know if there is God or there isn't. Theos is god from greek and and "a" in the beginning usually means negation.

Something that is spiritual to a person is anything that gives them a feeling of calm and inner peace. It can be anything and does not have to be religious.

Spirit comes from God. It is made of God's own light and has all Godly qualifities in it.
Human body is made of the products grown on earth. Arabic words of human self is 'NAFS'. Nafs (Self) of every human has desires of sex, gambling, lying, cheating and all the things that God Prohibits to do in all Divine Revelations. God also sent Prophets to all human cities for their guidance telling them what is wrong things to do and what is wrong things to do.

Food of Spirit is to read words of God, glorify attributes of God and to worhip God on daily basis as Prophets have showed their followers to do. By doing all these godly things give Spirit strength.

Whereas NAFS (SELF) is more interested to eat good food, drink liquor and lie down or watch filthy pornographic moves that satisfied his carnal desires instead of worshipping God. If man doesn't stay in conact with God, his spirit gets weaker and Self that has satanic elements gets stronger.

Those who believe on real God try to be close to God by obeying His commands and worshipping God in the nights when all other people are sound sleep. Islam call it a Jihad between of Spirit with self to keep the Self under constrol. This is the biggest Jihad (struggle) one has to do to strengthen his spirit. If man learms to control his self, he never fails in any other Jihad in the world because he recives help of Angeles from God for which he often doesn't even
know how he could defeat an stronger enemy.

It is not easy to lure such men/women to do anything that God prohibits them to do.. Such people are known as Spiritual. When they speak, they never lie, when they advise their words have wisdom and people believe them and do what they advise. When they promise, they keep promise. When they help a poor they never mention it to that person nor to any one else. Because they help the needy to please God kobeying God's commands. Such are said to have powers of Spirituality. Such people are closer to God by worshipping God nearly 1/3rd of night time until morning prayers before sunrise. Satan does not have power to lure them to do any thing against the command of God. Their Self is controlled by their spirituality. When in a conversation with companions some one asked Prophet Mohammad, do you have to struggle to control your self? He replied I have enslaved my self. He can not make me do wrong things.

Its very simple Christians base their faith on Jesus Christ, and they have life after death through Jesus Christ. (John3:16)

Atheists do not believe in anything greater than mankind. They do not believe in life after death.
