Embed a video into PowerPoint , it a little different between PowerPoint 2007 and PowerPoint 2003.
Beacause I can't post images here, you can view my article with Screenshots.

Tips:

Always put the movie in the same folder as your PowerPoint presentation. If you later move the PowerPoint presentation to another computer, copy the movie too. Keeping your movie in the same folder as your presentation ensures the link will still work. However, you should always test the movie on a new machine just to be certain. Re-insert the movie, if necessary.

Hi,

I presume the video plays OK if you double-click it outside of PowerPoint.

The most like problem is that the video was encoded with a "codec" that PowerPoint does not understand. The solution is to open the video in a program (other than PowerPoint) that can change its file format to .avi, which PowerPoint does understand (not that someone can't come up with a screwy .avi codec that is not understood well).

change the format, or you can try some of the options. it might not be set to play on viewing.
