You need to elaborate. No one would have any idea what you are asking.

Most software has to be updated via an Internet connection.
Anti virus is updated daily.
Microsoft windows is also updated from time to time.
Windows xp will have its LAST service pack (3rd) within a month.
And Windows Vista will have its first service pack too.
A service pack is a large update about 30MB or more and has patches (updates to fix any errors in the program) and often has new additions to improve the program.
New electronics like digital set top box ( to view digital broadcast television) also have to update the software, this is received via the TV antenna.
Any Software program you are thinking off updating?

Of course. Now if you elaborate on what you're asking, people might be able to give you some semblance of a reasonable response.
