I'm seriously thinking about getting a tatto on my wrist. What do you think about this?

I have a wrist tattoo. I plan to get the other wrist done as well once I finish my backpiece.

If you really want an upper class job, you'll be running the place and you can have all the tattoos that you wish. Anything less than that is really a middle class job and for those who have forgotten you can wear a long sleeve shirt at middle class office jobs. You can also usually wear fashionable bracelets to cover up anything less than a large tattoo. Obviously that won't work for things like nursing, but even many of those jobs will tolerate small visible tattoos.

If you are passionately sure that you will want this tattoo for the rest of your life, then get it done. If you are worried that it will cost you jobs, then put it someplace else. I chose my tattoo on the basis that I wouldn't care to work someplace that couldnt get over a tattoo. If you don't have that kind of commitment to your tattoo, hide it away until you're ready.

I've always wanted a tattoo on my wrist, but you have to think about the fact that it will pretty much always be visible. It might affect things like a job and what not. I personally think tattoos on wrists are cute.
As long as it is something that is meaningful and you will not regret I say go for it if that is what you want!

I have 2 tattoos.. and im getting a 3rd..
But all of mine are where they can be shown WHEN i want them to be.. but at work they can be covered..
Around your wrist is ok if you dont want a upper class job and all that.. But if you want a good job later on down the track then i suggest you maybe think about getting it somewhere else.. like your ankle, that can be covered up..

Im a nurse.. So yeah i dont think i would be in my job if i had tattoos where people could see them ALL the time

So yeah the answer is.. Tattoos are fine, just maybe 2nd think where you want to get one :)

Childrens names on the left back shoulder blade area, Melanie on the right back shoulder blade. Old English lettering is a nice style surrounded (with room for addition on the left) with old English ivy and or any other vegetation that appeals to you. The Tatt people will draw something up special just with this rudimentary idea to start with, a good tatt parlor is usually pretty creative with just an idea of what you want.

I have heard that, if it has a lot of detail, when you move it around to show it off it can look distorted. Odd looking and possibly not even look like what you got. Ask your local tattoo artist.

My friend got one on her wrist. I love it on her, but I would never get one. It's all about what you want.

me personally, i love tattoos. i think their a great way to express yourself and their just art on your body. but if you go and get a job, people high up might look at you badly. for me, im getting a tattoo in a place where i can cover it up for work, but enjoy it on my own. i would recommend that.

Make it an expendable part of your anatomy so that when it gets itchy, red, and infected; and then gangrene set in, you won't miss it when it rots off......
