ok soooooooooo, my parents are divorced, im 15, and i live with my mom and stepdad....... well when i was 13 i told my dad i wanted to live with him but, he asked why i wanted to(like what were some of the reasons), and he really hasnt said anything to me about it lately, does that mean that he doesnt want me to live with him..... and if he does want me to live with him, then what reasons could i give him, i mean i just think i would be happier with him.....

Talk to him when you both are having a quiet time and discuss your feelings with him. He might not know exactly how you are feeling and don't want to mess up the relationship with your mum. Would you have more space if you live there because if you do, that is no reason to move in with him. Does your mum know about this circumstance? You need to talk to her too.

Only your dad knows what he wants, and what he wants may change over time. So you'll have to ask him directly to find out what he wants now.
Tell him you would like to live with him, and tell him why. Write it in a letter if that helps.

So WHY do you want to live with him? Like he said, what are your reasons for making your choice? Everyone has reasons behind the choices they make. Please give it some strong thought. I bet you can come up with the reasons. WHY do you feel you'd be happier with him? Does that mean you're unhappy with your mom?.......If so, why?

Tell him you miss him and would like to be with him for a change.
Sometimes kids go to the parent's home where they can get by with the most mischief.
If its because you love him and miss him, tell him so.

If you still want to move in with your dad, sit down and talk to him about it. Be honest with him, tell him you think you will be happier there with him.
