my ex broke up with me cus i was cheating by asking another guy if i could be his gf after me and him were on a break. since then he said he hated me and wants too be friends only. wat does that mean? how can u hate someone and wants too me there friend? thats confusing....

He sees it as a form of cheating. Because you changed gears so fast, he thinks you probably weren't vested in the relationship to begin with.
A break means cooling it for a while. Is he going through a rough time with his family? Studying for exams? Focusing on sports?

You're right, you can't. Most people's definition of "friends" in this context, though, are people you occasionally say "hi" to...if that's the case, he's probably up to the task. Actually, it's not really worth your time trying to decipher his meaning...it's not deep, it's not meaningful, and it won't do anything good for you. Good luck to you, and Happy Holidays.

I don't think taking a break means getting a new bf it think he has the right to be pretty upset for a while, you should talk it out and apologize
