If it was the bone hurting, it has to do with the grip you are using when lifting weights. If it's the forearm muscle, it's normal. The musclular burn is just the biceps recruiting the forearms muscles, to which it connects. Now if it's joints and bones, you need to change your grip on the weights. If you use a suppinated grip (palms up), it's more likely to put stress on that particular joint area. Change the grip to a neutral grip (palms inward, like a handshake). Using a neutral grip takes the stress off the joint, and still works the majority of the biceps, namely the long head. Using a neutral grip with dumbells is called a hammer curl. If you are using a barbell, use a barbell with an E-Z grip. These barbells have staggered grip positions you can use. These work like neutral grips in taking stress off the area.

I was actually wondering this the other day! It happens to me too... except both my forarms are sore afterwards.

no, if you're working hard the forearm should get really tight, happens to me too. it's just those muscles working as well don't worry about it.
