It doesn't prove that evolution happened from protozoa to humans. However, it proves that species can mutate, and thus shows that evolution is possible.
Time, mutations, and selective pressure are sufficient to provide a forum in which single-celled organisms could evolve into humans, though we can't say that that's how evolution happened without looking at DNA and the fossil record.

You obviously haven't read one book on evolution because if you have you wouldn't be answering this question. The theory of evolution is a SCIENTIFIC theory. Why don't creationists get that in their heads. I don't get it. There is so much proof of evolution out there, yet people choose not to accept it. Why?!?! it is just something I do not understand. Have you ever thought of the fact that the reason why a dinosaurs brain was much bigger than a human brain was because dinosaurs were incredibly large animals? How in the world would a dinosaurs brain fit in a humans head?!?! Please think. Don't be ignorant. The reason why human brains have evolved so much is because ALL SPECIES DO NOT EVOLVE AT THE SAME RATE. Have you ever taken a look at a coelacanth? They look like ancient creatures living in the wrong era. Evolution does not predict how fast a species will evolve. Here I'll even refer a book for you to read to give you a head start. Please show us how and where you got the "fact" that a snail from 1 million years ago looks identical to one in present time.

Small changes over time add up to big changes. Antibiotic-resistant bacteria are an example of natural selection, which would be the "guiding force" in evolving a human. That's how it is proof.

The problem is your lack of insight into the scale of time. Take a few antibiotic resistant bacteria--let them loose on a oxygen water planet--come back in 2 billion years (if you get close enough to the speed of light in a long orbit around the galaxy you could actually see this in your own lifetime)-in 2 billion years you'll find a flourishing eco system.

Micro evolution happens, not macro. Big difference. Bacteria has been cultured in labs for almost 5 million (to my knowledge, possibly more) generations (in bacteria years) and it has hence forth, even with the help of scientists, never been anything but what it is. It doesn't prove anything but that when a short person marries a tall person, their offspring might be kinda tall, and then if they marry a tall person, their offspring might be pretty tall; but it does not cease to be human.

It doesn't. It simply proves that evolution happens. Those bacteria of each generation that have the immunity to the antibiotic survive and then pass on that immunity to the next generation. That's part of evolution, the passing on of desirable characteristics even when those characteristics are only expressed in a small number of a population at one point.

It doesn't. But it proves that small changes happen in small periods of time. The burden of proof is on anyone who asserts that large changes cannot happen over large periods of time.
What is missing from your thinking is the concept of deep time. All of written history, that infintely crowded panorama with all its kings and emporers, it conquests and rebellions, its rises and falls, it voyages of exploration and scientific discoveries, all of it took place in a little over four thousand years. The amount of time to get from an ape to a man is a thousand times that, and the amount of time to get from a bacterium to a man is a thousand times more.
Plenty of time to get from a bacterium to a man.

It is a small part of the evidence that it is POSSIBLE. It is not proof of a protozoa ---> man evolution.
It is proof that evolution happens.

Its not. Its just proof that some living things can adapt to their environment. When one turns into a research scientist, we might take another look.

If you go around looking for evidence to prove your disbelief in evolution...you're going to end denying a lot of established facts. If you accuse me of going around looking for evidence to prove my disbelief in your god...I'm going to find stacks of evidence. You follow me?
