She told me 12.6 and it was little bit below above high. I dont know what the heck is that mean. That doesnt help me tell the difference between normal, too much or too low.

By our lab standards your white count is a tad elevated. We would do a differential and auctually look at your cells and judging by the cell line that was elevated could tell if you had a bacterial infection like food poisioning or (more commonly) a viral infection like a common cold or the flu. An elevated white count is just your body's way of getting rid of an infection, so it is normal and nothing to stress about too much. They worry about it more in conjunction with symptoms also.

depending on the lab that does the test, your white cell count could be anywhere from normal to slightly elevated. It is not elevated enough to be of significance.

That just means it's a little high, but not high enough to worry about. Like if your temperature was 98.9 instead of 98.6, that's high, but not so high that you should worry.
