The NT was written by very knowledgeable Jews who converted the stories of the Torah into similar stories in the NT. It's not very hard to "fulfill" prophesy when the book is written after the fact!

the New Testament simply has little to no relevance to Judaism. its another religion's book. ... thats all.

Progunr, that doesn't make any sense. a person CANNOT be Jewish and believe that jesus "died for our sins."

and thats not why jews don't belive in Jesus. its because he was not the messiah. the Jewish Messiah has nothing to do with sin or repentance, and it is a matter of fact that the Jewish Messiah has not come yet.

generally the NT is not seen as reliable.

personally I think there is SOME value to be had in the NT. but that its got a huge amount of distortion and additions and such that are not true and were entirely added by man, and adopted from pagan sources.

Yup. Everything about the messiah having to die for the sins of man is pagan hogwash. When the messiah comes there will be peace on Earth, and there will be no need for him to "return" after thousand of years to finish the job. Just read the old testament and you see it is completely incompatable with the new testament.

It is not a matter of it being a lie it just has nothing to do with our religion.

We (Jews) believe that the Jewish Bible was revealed by G-d, and the NT was written by men.
It does not mean the NT is a lie; it is the Xian truth.

I don't know that I could vouch for the "truthfulness" of either testament.

Oh wait- its cuz we killed Jesus? are you really still on that one. Riddle me this, genius. If it was Jesus' job to come to earth to die for our sins, aren't we (the Jews) just responsible for things running the way the ought to? I think a Thankyou is in order. That is, if you believe we had any hand in that.

I don't think that Jews consider the NT to be a lie, they just don't consider it authoritative.

If you are Jewish, and you believe that Jesus was born, and died for our sins, then you also have to accept the fact that it was the
Jews who killed him.

Now you get why they don't believe that Jesus has come to earth yet?
