I understand that there won't be any eternal consequences if you're wrong, but don't you care about real things at all?
Disclaimer: Not all Christians incite problems just because the Bible tells them to... they're not all real Christians.

"Convince me and I will keep my money to myself and stop helping other people. I will quit counseling people and let them struggle on their own. No longer will I spend my valuable time teaching people to read. And forget about uplifting and encouraging them. I will enjoy my food and not share it or give the shirt off my back to someone who has none." thanks fish ;-) Keep it up, even if it's because your imaginary friend told you to...just don't vote.

I'm sure that, in some way, I definitely am part of what's wrong with the world. All people, including myself, can be prone to evil, carelessness, and negligence. But my religion teaches that there are, in fact, dire consequences for treating others with disrespect. If you do not feed the hungry, aid the sick, comfort the dying, and work toward justice, you are openly denying the teachings of Christ, and ignoring His good example.

Thanks big guy. I don't vote. There is no one worth voting for.

Dear chem-sicko,
It's not christians - it's people. People are what is wrong with the world. The same way that money is not the root of all evil, but the greed of people is what causes problems. Religion, without people, would be ineffective. You can either have good people behind a religion, or bad people. Most have both.
You obviously have no idea what a 'real' christian is, the same way a lot of these self-righteous 'christians' think that being an atheist makes one evil.

Matthew 5:13"You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men.
14"You are the light of the world. A city on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven.
Jesus was talking about those who followed him. It seems quite obvious that he believed that they (meaning the message that they carried about Jesus) were the solution to the problem.

What if people like YOU are what's wrong with the world?
I care about "real things." Most Christians do. Look at all of the philantropic, altruistic, and charitable organizations in the world. Most of them are Christian based.
Who are you to judge if someone is a "real" Christian or not? It looks to me as if people like you are the problem.
You're stirring up people and causing strife where there need be none.

Obviously you have nothing better to do with your time than get on here and stir people up. Just because people have different beliefs than you doesn't give you the right to judge them. So why don't YOU do the world a favor and find something productive to do?

I am an Atheist and Christians are not what is wrong with the world. Poverty, Greed, Racism, and Power struggle is what is wrong with the world.

You can't be serious.
Maybe you need to re-think your definition of the term "Christian" in the light of the teachings of the One Christians are supposed to be following?
