elder scrolls IV: Oblivion?

Question

I play elder scrolls IV: Oblivion and I am wondering if I enchant 2 armor with 50% shield and wear both of them, does it mean I am invinsible to melee attack. If your armor rating is 100, does that mean you are 100% resistant to all melee attack. Please help, thanks!

no
you are never 100% resistant
if you get something with 50% it adds 50% of your current sheild, if you put on something else you add another 50%. and an armour rating of 100 does nto make you invulnerable
you can always take damage
