sometimes i just can't stop my mouth from saying things...sometimes really b***** things...i've tried biting my tongue, counting to 10, but i will be saying hateful things with out even realizing it and then its too late! he's always been understanding, but i feel soooo bad, but it's almost like its someone else, you know? is there anyone else out there like this? and if so, can anyone give me ideas on how to at least try to stop?
(other than this fact we are very happily married!)

With what you are feeling, I suggest seeing a professional womens counselor for the best advice. Feeling like you have no control over what you say is a sign of a problem. No, you aren't crazy, you just may need some guidance. This is treatable.

It might be a good idea to go to the Dr and let them know what you are feeling. Maybe with some professional help the problem won't get any bigger, because they always do no matter how happy you are. Guys can only take so much just like us. So if you really want to help get some help.

sad to say, i used to do the same. I can be very nasty. However, wait till he wont be so under sanding anymore, then you rethink you behavior. Believe me, even the nicest guy has a last straw. Really, try to figure out what makes you to do this. is there any pattern? are you being like that with everyone and for how long? If you add more details, will be helpful for me to give you advice, cause I have been there.

Go see a therapist and work on it. This can be bad on your relationship and rub off onto other areas of your life. Good luck.

how about some therapy to learn some restraint techniques?

this is NOT acceptable behaviour. if it were, it would not bother you. it is compulsive behaviour. you can change it before it is too late...
