I am Canadian and using H1B work in US. I married in US and my wife is currently visitor status in US and she is also Canadian. We decide to visit Thailand for honeymoon next month, can she apply for H4 status at the US airport when we go back to US ? thanks.

Yes, when you and your wife seek admission into the U.S. after your trip to Thailand, you should present yourself for inspection as an H-1B, and she should present herself for inspection as an H-4.

As you should turn in your I-94 when you leave the U.S., be sure to have your Notice of Action (Form I-797) with you for presentation. It will show the inspector the validity period of your petition and for whom you're allowed to work.

Both of you should fill out the white Form I-94 provided by the flight attendants on the plane so they're ready for presentation to the inspector. Naturally, your wife's passport is going to have her maiden name on it, so you'll have to show that you two are married now. Your marriage certificate should suffice.

So, here's your list:

Two I-94's.
The I-797 showing an unexpired petition.
Two valid, unexpired Canadian passports.
Your marriage certificate.
