OK, if you go to different sites for news and research, you can name one or two of each, but I want multiple inputs on top references, focused on quality of information, not a long laundry list to wade through. I know the decision might be tough, but thanks in advance for distilling it down to your top choice(s)!

Thanks everyone!

Rick, actually I was looking for the best information of any type. I was curious to see if I could find any credible evidence against global warming outside of the ExxonMobil-funded junk.

Take your suggestion of the ironically named JunkScience for example. It's published by Steve Milloy. Steve Milloy was Director/Founder of The Advancement of Sound Science Coalition has received $30,000 from ExxonMobil. TASSC as "Coalition" may have dropped its public profile, but the Advancement of Sound Science Center (not Coalition) is still operating out of Steve Milloy's home in Potomac, MD and continues to spend around $300,000 a year, with Milloy enjoying a salary of $165,888 in 2000. The Advancement of Sound Science Center, Inc. has received $50,000 from ExxonMobil since 2000.

The original TASSC was founded primarily by Philip Morris in 1993.

“In 1993, lobbyist Steven Milloy called and EPA report linking cancer to second hand smoke 'a joke'. When a concurring 1997 study was published by the British Medical Journal, Milloy said, "it remains a joke today."

The Canadian Broadcasting Company's Fifth Estate did cool TV episode called The Denial Machine, on the overlap between tobacco denial and global warming denial and the PR firm APCO and its connections to Milloy and friends.

Surely we can find a better source for global warming information than a paid industry spokesperson?

News - BBC
Research - IPCC, Hadley Centre, CRU

As a general reference source Climate Ark is a good place, it's a portal rather than a conventional site so it makes a good starting point when seeking info. http://www.climateark.org/

The BBC also provides a lot of general information in an easy to understand format http://www.bbc.co.uk/climate/

For research purposes then it's these sites...
IPCC - http://www.ipcc.ch/
Hadley Centre - http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/research/hadleycentre/
Climate Research Unit - http://www.cru.uea.ac.uk/

The site I actually use most (by far) is an intranet site, it contains a database of pretty much everything of relevance that's been published relating to the climate.

Beef is defiantly the worst. I became a vegetarian a year ago and I am much healthier now. I would like to eventually become vegan and take my diet to at least 80% raw. But since I live in the frozen north getting fresh fruits and veggies in the winter is hard. And I don't know if I will ever be considered a true vegan since I still plan on consuming honey.

For environment news websites I go to TreeHugger and Yahoo Green.

http://treehugger.com/
http://green.yahoo.com/

For research I don't have a specific website (unless you count the IPCC report, which I reference often) - when I see a news story about a new scientific paper I do a search for that paper. I hear Google scholar is a good source for research papers though.

It isn't for news or latest anything, but the first source is my #1 go to place.
The second one is good too.
The third one is more in touch with the latest news.

You could monitor our primary source of heat:

You might also try to claim the $125,000 prize at this web site.

Also an constantly updated web page debunking the Reflectivity / Greenhouse Gas THEORY!:

But it is obvious you wouldn't be capable of absorbing anything that doesn't fit your present 'mind set'.
