I've tried the IRS website, its too confusing. And I just want to make sure my Tax guy isn't overlooking something.
I claim head of household with 1 child. My annual gross is definitly under 40k. I'm single, and go to school part time.
He gives me Child Credit, Child care credit, and i believe I have Earned income credit as well.

Would anything else be possible?

Don't own a home. Just rent. And I'm going for my Associates in Paralegal Studies.

IRS publication 17 has the info you are looking for, but it's long and not an easy read.

You might be eligible for an education credit if you paid anything out of pocket for tuition and fees. But if the other credits that you DID get take your total tax to zero, any additional credits or deductions wouldn't do you any good - they can only lower your tax.

EIC is what they call a refundable credit, which means that if you are eligible you get it even if you don't owe any tax. Other credits and deductions are not refundable.

Do a search for income tax checklist.
Do you own your home, pay mortgage or taxes?
Did you pay to better your education? Learn a new skill?
