i wanna play people online since ima get PS3 this week but i dont know how. PLZ HELP!!!

1. when you get your PS3 set up you will have to make an interenet connection with either wirelss internet or wired internet thorugh the PS3's ethernet port at the back, then follow a wizard to make an account.
2. after you choose your naem and avatar you will be able to add friends et cetera (add my, my PS name is: Bamdad)
3. When you are playing an online enabled game e.g. Resistance, in the main menu choose multiplpayer and online and you will log into the server
4. choose either custom game where you can play games hosted by people or ranked where you can play official games. you choose your preferences for maps, game modes and so on and join a game that looks appealing
5. you will now be playing with people all over the world
