just wondering how much different places pay their pharm. techs with 1 year experience? target in particular, walgreens, hospitals, any one know?

At Walgreens, after a year, you'll probably be earning a little more than $10 per hour. Hospitals, in general, require previous experience. They do pay more. The local hospital starts at $14 per hour.

I would say around $8 an hour, possibly more. It will depend on where you are in the country. I live in the New England area. I made $10 an hour but Target offered me less but I wouldn't accept less so they said ok they would give me that. I had over a year's experience plus a bachelor's degree. I no longer work in pharmacy.

The average starting pay is $10-$11 per hour. Going to school will not increase your potential starting salary.
