Dr wants to do a bonemarrow biopsy. Has anybody had this done and what were the possible diagnosis?

Never had it done but I heard in can be painful. Bone marrow produces blood cells so they may be looking for any diseases of the blood cells such as leukemia. Hope all goes ok.

it's pretty painful and there are many reasons he may want this test done. why not ask him what he's looking for?
