For every time somebody lies, they are only destroying themselves. As Pinocchio learns, your nose just keeps getting bigger. It will destroy the person who told it, maybe not physically or externally, but internally they will know what they have done, this committing a 'suicide' in the liar.

It stabs at the health of human society because what good can come out of a lie? If the truth is too hard to be handled by a fragile society, don't crack that glass even farther with a lie, just don't speak at all. The human race today only hurts itself with every fabrication we tell, and we only bury ourselves deeper with every lie that goes undiscovered.

It means that u going against the truth is not as bad killing someone. But u have to know that i weaken the strength of the society u r in. The health is the society is it strength and u taking a shot at that but violating the truth is weaken the health.
