Yes, and I felt horrible about it. I wish I could say that I was mature enough to tell the guy, but I wasn't. It definitely made me feel absolutely awful, and I imagine that when the truth came out, it made him feel even worse! I do know that I will never repeat that. I hurt him way more by telling him I loved him than by just keeping quiet.

I've never done that, but I've had a couple guys do it to me. Like after a month of dating its "I love you". I think that it is a very special expression and should be saved for only when you really mean it. There can't be a doubt in your mind. That crazy head over heels, cant stop thinking about you, want to get married, have babies and a white picket fence type stuff. Thats why I always get so mad if they say if without meaning it. I'd rather they say nothing than lie. Because when they finally do mean it......wow

No, never. If I didn't love that person, I would say things like: I like you. It takes a lot of time for me to fall in love with someone :) It takes a lot of time for me to actually say it to somebody.. I have only said it to one guy in my whole life.. And only after we were dating for 6 months :) But I'm glad I waited for so long.. At least I truly loved him when I said it :) Yes, people have said it to me. Without meaning it? Probably, just to try and flirt with me. But I don't trap into that :) Some people say it too easily and I really get suspicious when they do.. People shouldn't just say it. It's never good to play with someones feelings..

Very good question. Yes I have when I lust after someone that is so sad becasue at that moment you really think you feel love and you don't. I have done that so many times. I thnk I just get caught up in the moment. I try to be more careful when it comes to this becasue it ends uop hurting the person in the end.

I think everyone is guilty of that hun... sometimes you're in the moment and for lack of a better expression you say it. You're not meaning it, because love is something undescribeable, something that must be felt in order to mean it. So yes, I think everyone is guilty of that... Hope that helped!

no i only said this to two people both of whom i love...theres no point in throwing words around if u dont mean them, this is serious....u wouldnt want anyone to fucc with ur feelings so why would u do that to someone else?...if more people would stop and think about not throwing "i love u's" around without meeaning behind it and lying about everyting else at that we would far more healthy relationhships.

NO WAY!!
Call me old school but those three words are special .. and they pack a mean punch! I would never tell someone I love them when I don't.

Yea, I say it to my mother-in-law, even though, I do like her, I don't even say I Love you to my own mom. I can say it with meaning to my husband and kids, but I was not brought up with hearing it. I say it because they said it first, and it would feel weird not saying it back.
