the people in Sudan wanted the Briton to die for calling a teddy bear Mohmammed and people in United states want Vick to be totured because of dogfighting. Yet Sudan people seem evil.

People get emotional over dogs. And, let's face it, some people tend to get emotional over a black man being paid large amounts of money to do something that's seen as unimportant. It's a "perfect storm" of emotional issues with Michael Vick.

Personally, I think Michael Vick DOES deserve to do some serious time - although I'd balk at "torture." He knowingly committed some heinous crimes that actually impacted other beings negatively. The Mohammed teddy bear - pure symbolism. That case only shines a light on the fact that "religious" people tend to get carried away by things that DON'T actually matter.

I don't want him tortured. What I want is for People to get some perspective please. Michael Vic Did sick, horrible things to animals at his mercy. The outcry was Unparalelled. Yet, When is the Last time a sports figure was sentanced to 23 months after he raped a girl in a hotel room? Or held accountable at all?

Hurt a dog-ooooh you should be totured and killed.
Hurt a woman- *shrug* she probably had it coming.

I don't necessarily want Michael Vick tortured. He needs to be punished, but that could be achieved by having him work in dog pounds or something. I guess it could be considered hypocritical if a person wanted MV tortured.

Because its one thing to give a teddy bear a name.

Its another thing to make other living things fight to the death for your pleasure...

You need to learn the difference between the two.

what EXACTLY is the problem here?

Severe Punishment for signifigant acts of animal cruelty...

compared to executing a human being for NAMING A STUFFED ANIMAL.

it seems pretty obvious that the ones overreacting are the ones getting upset about a stuffed animal.

Many in the U.S. can probably more easily relate to liking a dog than they can to any Sudanese.
