Hi i am looking at upgrading my mountain bike and i was looking at a bike and i noticed Rock Shock forks and thats a brand i have never heard of before so i would like to have some advice about them :) thanks

rock shocks are very good pro forks

they're used most on expensive hardtails

Rock Shox makes from low entry forks (Dart) to mid range (Tora, Recon) to high end (Reba, Pike, Revelation, Lyrik, Totem) and some others. It just depends on the particular model.

they are one of if not the first manufacturer of mtn bike shox. Currently they make top of the line, mediocre, and crappy forks. if you like the fork, and it feels like it flexes good; if the tube is the correct diameter, and is the correct length; or to long (you can saw it down) and if it is a good price - GO FOR IT

They do a range from low to high end. The low end ones look very similar to a rebadged Suntour. Mid to high end stuff is good for the money.

Ummmm...if you are referring to 'Rock Shox' then yeah, you could say they're a pretty good brand, considering they were one of the original pioneers of bicycle suspension...

they used to be the best name in the business, only making high end shocks. now they have every price range. they are good though
