There are two stages to answering this ; First why I have a faith and second which one it is.
First I have a faith because I have a hope/dream for the future and I have come to believe that a society without a shared faith doesn't operate. You need more and more laws, more police and bigger jails. At the moment society in many countries is living on the capital of a previous shared faith but this is being eroded day by day.
Second, I am a Christian because I am fascinated by the personality and teaching of Christ. I have had in my lifetime three 'visions' of Jesus. But I am not a traditional Christian in that I focus on Jesus and rate scripture alongside tradition and experience as the way to Jesus. As I have already said - and been challenged on - Jesus is the word of God. Jesus reveals the kingdom of God to us. Scripture was written by inspired people but that has not prevented problems in the interpretation.
Having bared my soul will sit back and take the flak. At least it won't be as bad as living in Baghdad.

I'm a Pangelist.
I know it's the right one because of the warm and fuzzy feeling. It's amazing. It promotes peace and tolerance among different religions and viewpoints, instead of judging others, accusing them of being wrong, and trying to convert them to your own mindset.
Of course I can convince you if you really want, it would only take one ((((((HUG))))))!

I am a buddhist, which is technically a philosophy not a religion. Why? Buddhism does not bother with the question of whether or not god exists, because we will not know, until this life is over, what the answer is. Rather, we believe in doing our best to harm no living being, to be at peace with one's surroundings and to be at peace with oneself.

catholic, my parents were, i don't know if my religion is right, but i don't think any religion is either, to me every god is the same, everyone reads from the same bible, many mis-interprets the book, and i don't blame anyone, because i don't believe that men can understand the bible, because we don't have gods brain to understand it, i believe that we are not supposed to understand the bible fully, word for word, because the bible has countless of deep meanings that only the lord himself would understand, and as a man we should never try to level ourselves to god by telling people that we know everything about religion, because basically no one knows the truth unless you are god himself, even though i don't think any religion is right, i like all of them, because, all religion teaches us one thing, how to be good to one another, so basically that's what im following despite race, color, gender and religion

I am Christian and will always be one until the day i die...because there is a God out there...and i go to Church and know that there is a life after death Heaven or Hell so all of you none believers i suggest you change your life right now because life on earth is short and Jesus will come back to return and all who have not saved him will be cast into a pit of hell to burn for eternity and will want to die but there will be no death and no way out of it...

Hello thanks for your question. I love telling people who I am a Muslim. I believe in the doctrine of Islam. I love the way of life. The Quran is full of scientific facts that have just been discovered recently. The more I study the more I believe. I was never like that when I was a Christian. Islam makes me feel like I have a purpose and it makes me happy and probably saved my life. I was heading down a bad path and my faith in Christianity was not enough to help me. I thank God everyday for bringing me to Islam.

I was baptized Catholic but not confirmed. I am more of a spiritual person than religious. I'm not knocking religion I believe that it's a wonderful thing. Throughout my life I have encountered over-zealous religious people that it actually turned me off.
