The construence processes differs for general object classification and for specific. Unambiguous constuance of a specific object uses unmotivated reasoning.
Specific recognition bypasses association with the class it belongs to. Political nominees to office are open to differentially motivated responses by voters. Mention of the general class of 'democratic nominee' may bring a general negative if only one is preferred. The same can be true to responses to the class of person, female or of a specific race, as opposed to responses to a specific well dressed, friendly woman.
Basic knowns are used in general recognition but data or facts are used in specific recognition.
