Adderall is designed to treat ADD. Lots of people use it to help with concentration. I knew several people in college that used it before all-night study sessions before exams. What I heard about how it worked were mixed. Some people said it helped them cram before finals, others said they stayed up all night on it and then crashed during the test. As long as they aren't taking extraordinarily large doses, they shouldn't be seriously hurt, but it has a high dependency rate and obviously shouldn't be used without prescription.
