I love them. Fantasy is fun and helps develop the imagination.

I think the only ones who are against it are those who are afraid it competes with their own pet superstitions.

I am not against them. Why would I be? I don't believe in magic. The movies are not going to brainwash me. If kids start to believe in magic to some kind of damaging degree, then they're probably screwed up to begin with; if there weren't movies about magic then they'd probably find something else screwed up to believe in.

I am not. But I am against books and movies that try to say magic is real in this world.

My opinion: the church officials falsely think that we will turn from God because we're gonna practice magic. Yea, pff, who are they kidding? I love books with magic, adds an awesome aspect and I still believe in God, so definately not against them.

i'm christian and alot of christans hate the harry potter books because of the magic. but i love them. i think that it's just fantasy it's not like it's going to change my opinions of things, it's just a book. or in this case a really good series.

I'm against Llewellyn publishing because most of their books on magick aren't worth what you'd pay for a box of matches to burn them.

I'm against Silver Ravvenwolf because I feel that she is a hypocrite.

you may desire to easily examine Harry Potter 'reason it incredibly is in simple terms fiction. Plus, i understand some Christians who examine it. i think of it incredibly is against God 'reason in medieval days human beings accused "witches" (they weren't incredibly witches) and cats as people who artwork with devil. Witches are magic purchasers, so as that makes magic evil in accordance to the Christian faith. i think a number of that style of stuff nevertheless lingers with Christians.

I'm not. Just as long as it's not anti-God.

And I have read all seven Harry Potter books and enjoyed the series very much. I've also read parts of the Chronicles of Narnia as well as the Lord of the Rings trilogy.
