Right now there are more in Heaven, but there will be more in Hell, Matthew 7:13-14. It doesn't reflect on the amount of influence. It reflects on the amount of people who refuse to choose God and His Son Jesus.

I'm assuming in hell, taking into account all of the people who believed in religions that came before christianity. I think the 72nd time is the charm, maybe?

Currently there is nobody in Heaven or Hell.......God will judge us come judgement day and put us in our respectful places, until then upon death we are just souls in a state of restful "sleep", until Jesus's coming. Make sure you read your Bible and understand what happens to us when we die.
