I dont know if i have been bitten by something, an infection or something else. kinda worried. I have a hard, painful bump uder my skin at the top of a buttock. about the size of half a golfball or so, but the pain extends well past it. any ideas or answers?

This sounds like an infected pore, maybe a hair became ingrown. You should have it checked by your doctor before it gets any worse. They may need to drain it and give you some type of antibiotic. Seriously don't wait.

Aaron, you have a pilonidal cyst. They form on or around the tail bone and can develop after an injury or out of the blue. They can become inflamed and quite painful.

You will need to see a doctor to have it drained or removed via surgery.

If you pop it, does white puss and blood come out like a huge pimple? It might be MRSA. Use gloves and sterile gauze if you do pop it to avoid spreading it. You should see your physician for appropriate antibiotics.
