It's cause and effect. What would make someone believe that there is an old man in the sky watching every single iota of time/space to not let the universe unfold upon itself. This is what the creator, created this universe for. To let it unroll as it will.
Sorry about the kids, but the universe does not hold to sentiment.

I personally don't think GOD creates people. HE created the first (and only the first) two people. Those two in turn created humanity.
This out of the way, I will say that God does not make anyone believe in him, it is a choice. I also personally believe that he only intended for the Israelites (the ancient Israelis), to be different from all others. READ the BIBLE and how God repeats constantly, "don't do like the others whom I despise in my heart". And reading from what those other ancients did, well it is only understandable that God despised them!!!!
Now for the ones of us that do believe, I think he did want to give the "others" a fair chance_not that he probably hadn't done so way back then!_and thus he sent JESUS CHRIST. And believe me I do not adhere to a particular religion (having been brought up a Christian), but I adhere by what the Bible says it's God's word. And I tend to agree with Jesus teachings 99% only!!! And I would say about 50% only with CHRISTIANS TEACHINGS.
Regarding people dying in horrific, unexpected, totally absurd ways (now more than ever), if you are a believer in God you know that our world as we know it has been set for destruction since the very beginning, precisely because of two people's lack of faith and trust in HIM.
Hopes this helps clarify things for you!

Riddle me this: Knowing full well that people are starving all over the world, people are being killed for more reasons than I can name in a full hour of typing, the instace of rape is at an all time HIGH, people are still hanging onto the belief that God looks after God's followers?
Funy how all of these things can happen but people only start to question when something hits close to home.

God does work in mysterious ways that we dont understand but God could have put them on Earth to minister to others and win their souls to God and once their work on Earth is done God why not let them go on with God? there are many ways to look at this situation and other situations but we wont know the true reason God took them from this Earth until we make it to Heaven!!

If believing in God granted you complete protection from all evil then everyone would jump right on the bandwagon wouldn't they. There would be no "faith", no "belief" just a desire to not get hurt.
God didn't kill those two young people, the dude with the gun did.

Honey that is not the work of GOD that is the WAYS of this world. Have faith know that the people that were killed are in a better place. We will not live for ever and it's not about how we died on earth it's about how we lived on earth. I believe that I'm going to heaven, I'm not worried about when I die. But knowing that I could die at anytime makes me love more.
GOD BLESS YOU

regrettably it continues to be accepted and in some places inspired, to kill homosexuals......Like one Texas decide reported some years in the past, "it incredibly is the Christian element to do." yet as a effect, i'm useful that in the time of time, the certainty will come out. I in simple terms desire it incredibly is all cleared up one way or the different earlier the convention in Denver. yet we are in a position to all see how the ranting and ravings by way of Rev. Wright on destructive youthful minds (exceptionally his homophobic rantings) can incredibly bring about divisiveness, no longer inclusion.

1. Free will.
2. God works in mysterious ways.
3. Who are we to question God?
Those are the only three answers Christians will be able to give you.

it is like do not sin and you go ahead and sin anyway
do not murder and you Just murder someone on the street
so your point taken
it is too that God give each on a choice to choose what is right and what is wrong when they choose the latter you say it is a real strain on blind faith????

We live in a sinful world where free will reigns. Those who choose to not follow Christ are the reason stuff like this happens. God creates life and we, the SINFUL people, destroy. Uh... thats not Gods fault.
