im 17 years old 112 pounds and just shy of 5 foot. im trying to lose weight because i hear that you should be 100 pounds at 5 foot and 5 pounds more/less for every inch difference. im athletic so my legs are pretty muscular but i still feel that im over weight/obese. am i healty?? am i big?? what should i ideally weight?? im very worried i will be one of those morbidly obese adults and at my height will be very unattractive. is there something worng?? am i overweight ?? please help.

uh i just looked it up and not to be mean but yeah you need to lose a few pounds. The bmi calculator says you're normal but they're really skewwed. im 6' and I weigh 120 and i feel big if i get up to 125

Why do you have to weigh 100 lbs at 5 foot tall?
You say you're atheltic so you're probably just right because muscle looks better than flab. Don't try to lose because you'll also lose muscle. You should weigh exactly what you weigh if you're eating healthy and not exercising too much. Enjoy being young and stay involved in athletics and you'll be ok.

Your ideal weight by the weight charts is 103-113 lbs for small boned. This says you are not overweight. If you stay in that range I'm sure you are fine.

I'm 6'1" and 205 lbs. I'm thin because I have a lot of muscle. The weight charts say I should weigh 152-164 lbs. I look gaunt at 181. My doctor says I'm at my proper weight.

You need to stop!!! There is no perfect size for perfect stature. Those are just guidelines to go by. You will be sick if you continue to look at this standards as your own. You need to eat well exercize often and by all means don't stop eating because some standard is printed for you to go by. You will make yourself sick like that. Your mind is continuously worried about what you should look like that can have a bad affect on your health. Fill your mind with goodness and give to others love. Stop looking at magazines that tell you how you should look. If a man is attracted to you he will love you fat or thin.

You might weigh a little more than you should, but not badly over. And considering that you have muscle rather than flab, what you weigh might even be just right for you. So don't worry about it!

your 4ft 11in and weight 112 pounds thats too much for your height you should weight about 84 pounds

if people say your fat there wrong because muscle wieght is very large i think your perfect so dont worry your fine

No, you're perfect. Muscle weighs more as it's more dense. Please don't mess with what nature gave you.

Do you FEEL good? Are you active? Then you're PERFECT.

I HOPE NOT BECAUSE THEN THAT WOULD MAKE ME overweight because i am 4'11 and i'm 115. and i'm only 13.
