You can always ask their parents. They would definately be privy to the "Santa list" of toys and other stuff the kids want. Usually they aren't into sappy gifts or keepsakes (who remembers the weddings from elementary school or even wants to?) so skip those altogether. For the 6 year old boy I would guess something like toy cars or action figures. Maybe even a video game if he is mature enough. I know alot of my students that age are ape about Transformers right now. For the 3 year old you can go to Build-a-bear and get her favorite animal and put it in a similar dress. They sell wedding dresses to go that route or you can ask your seamstress to make one with fabric from the alterations. With both gifts include their favorite candies.

We got our girls musical jewelry boxes, they loved them. We got our ring bearer a silver bank in the shape of a baseball. We wanted to get them something that might be a keepsake years down the road, as opposed to a game or toy that would get destroyed.

I don't have a flower girl, but I have my 6yr old & 7yr old nephews in our wedding.. we're giving them keepsake silver money clips with their Monograms on them. They're obviously too young too appreciate it right now, but when they're a bit older, they'll have something nice to remember how special they were to us now.

It probably depends on what the kids like. Basing my answer on my nephews, I would say a Toys-R-Us gift certificate. That way they can buy whatever they want. It is an adventure for them :)
