No WMDs and all of the corruption in " Democracy " in IRAQ

1) The fact that it does not appear to be satisfying any of the goals set forth by anybody. Even using Bush's own metrics, it is an unmitigated failure.

2) The fact that is is ludicrously expensive. It has cost every single American more than $1500 to date. By the time it is finished and all costs are properly accounted, it will likely cost more than $10,000 per American.

As such, we have an ineffective program that costs an enormous amount of money. Only a fool could support such a thing.

If you have a family of 4, think to yourself, which would you rather have? A War in Iraq, or $40,000 cash. I'd take the cash.

1) no WMD's found.
2) realization of mistakes made by the government and intel.
3) scandals
4) public opinion, when people feel like maybe they wont be persecuted for having an unpopular opinion many more come out of the shadows with the same opinion.

alot of thing contributed, after the attacks americans were so mad that we were willing to believe anything or do anything to seek revenge on those who hurt us. unfortunately when people think in the heat of anger we dont see as clearly as we should and we are more likely to believe whatever we are told. some people feared being called unpatriotic because of their opposition to the war, but as more came out it made them feel more comfortable in stating their opinion. i am against the war as it stands, but i am very patriotic, i love my country very much, but part of being an american is always being critical of those with too much power. viva america

a belief that everything should be done fast and right away, and constant reporting by 24 hours news services eying to see who can have the snazziest up to date killed in action reports. If we had todays news media during WWII, we would be fighting over whether to speak German or Japanese.
