it takes a good 3-4 weeks on a balanced diet before there will be measurable fat loss. that diet is too low in calories and nutrients in general to promote fat loss. each meal needs to be protein based and should be either supplemented with high fiber carbs or veggies. the more whole foods in your diet the healthier you will be and the faster you will see fat loss. meals should be more like:

Breakfast:
2-3 cooked egg whites
1 serving oatmeal
1/2 grape fruit or 1 orange

Snack:
1 medium apple & 2 tablespoons peanut butter

Lunch:
1 can of tuna
small mixed green salad

Snack:
slim jim, beef jerky, assorted nuts or seeds (something low carb)

Dinner:
4-6 oz. fish
1-2 cups steamed vegetables
mixed green salad

Snack:
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese

I am on a high protein / low carb diet that my doctor put me on. You are eating way too little food,it will set you up for failure. You should eat 20 grams of protein six times a day. At each meal you can have one carb. You do not have to count carbs but only eat one per meal. For example, if you have spaghetti, the pasta is a carb so you cannot have garlic bread. If you eat this way, you will lose weight and feel great. I am obese. Since I have been on this diet, I have lost 13 lbs. in 2.5 weeks.

looks good, might want to eat some nuts for protein...they keep me fuller through the morning than a 1/2 of bagel with cream cheese does. I'd lay off the slim jims though...gross and unhealthy.

Can't fit through the dressing room door. Yes, starve yourself. Everyone knows that Slim Jims are part of a healthy well-balanced diet.

You are not eating enough. Please see a nutritionist or a dietician.
