Of course I am a HUGE JB fan & just renewed in his fan club for 2008.
I think he is going to have a great year in 2008 & try his hardest to win the championship. i think he has learned alot about the COT this year & he is already thinking about how to improve on it next year.
His crew is all staying put & they will do whatever it takes to give Jeff a great season, starting with a win in Daytona next Feb!!!!
GO RCR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As I have said before, I am not a fan of any one driver, I am a fan of the sport of NASCAR. What I have not done in the past is qualified my position. There are several drivers I really like, several drivers I think are mediocre, and then there are those I feel have no business racing in the NASCAR cup series.
Jeff Burton is one of the drivers I like. He is an able competitor, has a good attitude, drives clean, is usually running up close to the front, and interviews well.
As any NASCAR enthusiast knows, a driver is only the most visible part of an entire team. While his performance matters, the outcome on any given day can be affected by how the rest of the team performs.
I believe Jeff Burton has some very good people around him so I also believe he will be competitive in '08. I don't think he'll win the championship, but I do think he'll be in the chase.

Jeff is a very good driver and well respected on the track and off the track. All he needs is a little good luck to happen for him in 08 and he will be right in the thick of things.

I really like Jeff Burton. He's a good driver, and he always seems to stay positive. 2007 was a bit of a lackluster year for him, so i really hope he does well in 2008.

I think he'll join the ranks of Mark Martin, Dale Jarret, and Ricky Rudd. With the youngsters like Kyle Busch running in the top ten, there isn't much room for the old timers. Don't get me wrong, I respect these guys, and have total admiration for them. But let's face the facts. there's too much competition for these older guys. Remember the term "sentimental favorite"? Well, sentiment doesn't win races.

Jeff Burton is a top notch driver, a true racer, and old school gentleman who earned the deep respect of Dale Earnhardt and any other true racer. His time to be a champion is long overdue.

Hey there nf31...how ya doin'? I honestly like the guy. I hope he does real well in 08. I hope Jr. does better, (LOL) but I think he's got a good shot at the title if he keeps up the good work. He is a great driver, and one of the nicest guys in NASCAR.
Go Jr.>>>>

As long as he is driving for RCR, he defently is contending for a championship, defently expect him in the Chase unless some real bad luck comes his way.
He should be good for a win or two.
