If a faith healer could cause an amputated limb to regrow, then I would believe. The rest are just scams.

Probably not.
That doesn't mean that God can't affect instant healings, just that the fundamentalists who put together tent revivals and mega-church shin-digs are more interested in making money that waiting for the movement of the Holy Spirit.
Last thing I read, every one of these revival things that was promoting healing and miracles, once they got investigated, they all proved phony.
Wireless ear-pieces, plants in the audience, workers asking people about their ailments in the back of the church, then secretly telling the preacher about them so he could pretend that "God just told me there is somebody here suffering from systemic lupus!" -- all that stuff. Phony as professional wrestling and almost as gaudy.

I am a reasonable man. I expect miracles!
I have witnessed sudden healings. I had at least a couple sudden miracle cures myself.
Perhaps I should say apparent miracles. God only knows.
None of my personal miraculous healings has gone away, so I do claim them as miracles of God. Yet I admit it is hard to be 100% sure.
If I get to heaven and God says that I was wrong, I'll just shrug my shoulders and praise God any way!
I have also prayed for others, and seen them healed suddenly. I believe at least some were miracles from God, perhaps all were.
I could testify, but who knows if I can really judge true miracles or not. God only knows!!!
Have you ever heard of remission? Perhaps all remissions are miracles. Or not.
Sometimes the body seems to heal, but may go back to sick again.
I remember praying for a man's cancer to leave, and it did, and we celebrated with tears and joy; but the cancer came back, and he died.
Sorry to be so honest, but it is hard to understand these things, even when you believe in miracles!
Often healings appear to be spontanious, but some may be the placebo effect (even if your doctor gives you a phoney pill, you may get better), but all GLORY to GOD any way! We need to count our blessings!
God only knows if He performed a miracle, or it the explanation is that we are "wonderfully made", with a whole "drug store" in our mind. GLORY to GOD either way!
It is also said that "time heals", and might some miracles be a realization, just then, that the healing HAS happened. GLORY to GOD either way!
It may be psycosomatical illness, that is all in the mind, that disappears during prayers. GLORY to GOD either way!
Could it be mind over matter? God only knows!!! GLORY to GOD either way!
Sometimes it is a real miracle of God, but we will not know details like that until we reach heaven.
Can we trust a doctor's verification? God only knows!!!
The physicians can be covering their own butts, or "preaching" their own personal beliefs (doctors believe in miracles too, or don't as the case may be, just like you and I).
Believe, or not, but GLORY to GOD either way! Without Him, we have nothing!!!
God does not feel obligated to PROVE himself all the time. He allows us to doubt. He is not offended when we admit to ourselves that we may be more hopeful than observant.
It seems as if He's not there, some times, but that is OK. By not being "obvious", He sees who are His real followers.
How do you behave when there is no one watching? That is the most important question of your life! God cares about that answer!
Jesus said to doubting Thomas, when he showed him His wounded hands, "You believed because you saw. More blessed are they who believe although they have not seen."
If you need a healing, and prayer does it for you, just enjoy the healing, and praise God you are healed!
Doubt may rob you of a healing, so what is the profit in doubt? Believe and receive. What do you have to lose, excepyour sickness and pain.
But if a physician's hand was involved, praise God for doctors. God is the giver of all good gifts, including the science that He created, although it sometimes makes us doubt Him.

It's a scam, if what you're referring to is those church shows.
It's medicine, if you're talking about Vicks or something like that.
