He is not missed but meanwhile dead. He was a german pilot of a ju 52 and stuka (sturzkampfbomber). Maybe someone knew him at that time. There was for example a kind canadian officer who allowed him to leave the camp to buy newspaper sometimes. Thank you very much!

You are looking for information about a Ww2 German Luftwaffe pilot called Jansen, or Janssen who was kept as a Prisoner of war (POW) from 1943 until 1949 in the Ricky Mountain area?Am I correct in thinking Jansen / Janssen is a Danish name?

The Canadians had a POW compound in the Canadian Rockies. Perhaps that is where Herr Jansen was interred. And if so, his internment ended in early 1946 at the very latest. You might want to contact the nearest Canadian Embassy or Consulate and speak to a cultural attache who might be able to provide further information.
