yea, that's kind of ridiculous for them to take your stuff away, that's the kind of thing you do to a 5 year old. BUT, as much as i know you don't want to hear this for the eight billionth time: you are in their house so it's their rules.
when i was 18 (which was almost 10 yrs ago), i got my tongue pierced, tattoos, labret pierced, etc etc. and yes, my parents were pissed as hell, but they didn't take anything away from me or make me take any piercings out. your parents will get over it eventually and accept that that is part of who you are. i don't have my piercings anymore, but i still get tattoos and my parents don't really care as much as they did before.
if the situation bothers you that much, get your own place.

Why are you getting a tattoo? Some of you people today will look like hell in about 20 years.
In any event, you must have known that getting the tat would displease your sugar daddy. The lesson here is that you should not offend those who pay your bills.
All that said, who paid for the tattoo? If you say it was your money, then why are you allowing mom and dad to pay your other bills? When you are in college and your parents are paying the bills, then you give up the right to use your money for non-essential purchases (like tats) since you could have conceivably used that money to pay some of your own essential expenses at school.
By the way, if you are in college, take a remedial English course. Your grammar and spelling are deplorable.

Well......
My dad always said as long as I lived under his roof, I must abide by his rules. If he bought the car and the cell phone, he as every right to take them away. They are his. I don't see how they can physically ground you, you ARE an adult, but. hey just wait until you are out of the house, then GO WILD. My neice got tattoos the week she turned 18 and piercings too! her parents dissapproved and she has to make sure she wears appropriate clothes so grandma doesn't see the tatoo, but hey, she was 18 and I think she bought herself a car, so they couldn't take that away.

If you live with them then you should have to abide by their rules. After my divorce(and before I got married to my current husband), I had to live with my Mom for a while. I was 22 years old and had a baby, but I still had a curfew when I started dating again. After I moved back out, she would babysit my daughter, and I still had a curfew(it was 12a.m.). In my Mom's defense, she was babysitting for free, so it also benefited me to follow her rules. I am now 30 years old and my Mom's rule is still that things are her way or the highway(translation: you do what she wants or you leave). Although I admit, now that I am older, I usually choose the highway.

If you act like a mature adult you will be treated as such.
If you want to live with your own rules then you need to move out and pay for your own things. Just remember at age 18 you are considered an adult by law so be careful what you do, when you do it and who you do it with or it won't be your parents punishing you.

Sounds extreme.
On the other hand though, if they said they
did not want you to get one (even when you
are 18 and can do so w/o their permission)
and they are paying for your education, living
expenses while in college, paying for your car,
and cell phone then I would have to say that
they are probably making a statement back to you.
Statement being: "You are old enough to get
a tattoo on your own against our wishes than
you are old enough to pay for your own car and
cell phone".

First you need to fix your grammar. Geeting tatoos?
Yes because you must always listen to mom and dad especially if you live under their roof. Even if you don't live with them you still must respect your parents wishes.

you're no longer a foul man or woman. a lot of people have irrelevant ideas in specific circumstances, as long as you do no longer act on it you're ok. Did this ever occurred to you until eventually now? in case you sense perplexed or out of control please stumble on a psychotherapist, physician or some expert help. don't be afraid, don't be ashamed, you're no longer on my own, others have comparable themes. stay faraway from circumstances which makes you sense uncomfortable or risky, it relatively is the excellent thank you to guard it on the 2nd. you're no longer a foul man or woman, you do no longer belong to penal complex, cool down, no physique is conscious what's on your head. OCD could be on the topic of this situation.

Are you living under there roof?
Are they paying for the car?
Are they paying for the cell phone?
If you answer Yes to any of these questions then they do have a right to punish you.

I'm sorry but if your parents are paying for your car, cell phone, and the roof over your head, then you have to play by their rules. Until you are able to get your own place, car, and phone, stay away from the tattoo parlors.
