Anxiety attacks (Anxiety Disorder) is a general label to describe a number of anxiety related disorders including Panic Disorder (Panic attack).
From the symptoms you have listed I wouldn't automatically say you are having an anxiety attack. Being prone to anger, feeling miserable, and crying at the slightest provocation sounds more like depression.
Feeling hot and sweaty but shivering sounds more like a physical rather than mental condition (maybe too much caffeine or from other substances often found in things like diet and energy pills).
Best to go see your primary care physician to rule out anything physically wrong with you and if it's psychological your doctor can refer you to a psychiatrist.

an anxiety attack is emotional issues, and yes some of those affects you stated are part of them...panic attack is the physical part of the anxiety...and the panic attack is caused by the fear of the anxiety..and the more anxious you become the more severe the panic attack will be...my first panic attack came when I was anxious about financial problems...and I cramped up so severely and could not breath I thought I was dying, and my face went numb I said I think I am having a heart attack so 911 was called and it turned out to be anxiety/panic attack...scarry as hec...

I have read some litterature about panic attacks. But they allways seem to have a more scientific approach and that is nothing I need in my struggle to survive those horrible panic attacks. This is a "hand on" and very practical book. I felt it was written to me. I am sure that you are going to feel the same.

Joe Barry writes exactly how I think. The examples are perfectly described. And the method is genius. I recommend this book and thanks Joe Barry for writing it. It changes your life

Anxiety attacks and panic attacks are not the same thing. What you are describing sounds like stress related reactions.

Anxiety attack and panic attack are almost synonymous. An anxiety attack is when you're scared for no reason

Yes. Same as panic attack. Your body will show all the effect of adrenalin. Irrational fear is known as anxiety.

it's interesting you should ask that. my cousin went to the hospital yesterday because of an anxiety attack. him and his ex were in an argument and he began to shiver and pass out. they said he needed rest. anxiety has a lot to do with stress and worry. i have them every once and a while. not too bad though for me.
