These family members are actually "step" related and are extremely greedy. They have previously actually sued their own blood sister and mother! Their mother died several years ago and their step-father is on his dieing of cancer, as his care givers (son & wife) we are concerned that when he passes they will try whatever means available to gain financially as they are NOT in his Last Will & Testament.

Make sure that the step-father leaves each of them $5 in the will, "for reasons which are well known to them". I've heard that when one does this in their will, it can not be attested. But check with a lawyer just to be sure, and good luck!

Death causes people to get greedy.. ask me, my sister took the home i was supposed to share...

Perhaps you could talk to the estate administrator? who is the attorney of record? Make an appointment with whomever the step-father hired to draw up the Will... they will have your answers.

The only way to guarantee it doesn't happen to you is to avoid inviting them into your home. I'm confused as to why you would want to have someone like this in your home anyway. If they are sue happy and you know it, then take the measures to assure you are not the next victim.

if they are not in his will, there's nothing they can do about it, try to discuss all the possibilities of securing the will with your lawyer
