New England boiled dinner -
Gray corned beef, slow boiled until tender. Then turnip, potatoes, carrots and cabbage boiled in the same water as the corned beef.
Mash the turnip, potatoes, carrots together, add butter salt/pepper and cider vinegar, on your plate. Have some yellow mustard with your corned beef and Guinness beer.
The red corned beef that you see packaged in 99% of grocery stores isn't very good. It has to be gray - you get it from a butcher.

Sounds yummy but it would be even better with chicken fried steak! But my favorite dinner would have to be sushi!

Steamed King crab legs, and veal piccata. It's expensive, so we only make it for special occasions or holidays. But it's my favorite of all time. I suppose if I had it more often, I'd get tired of it.
