2007 has been a really tough year for me. Alot has happened and i have been fallen to the ground alot. I haven't felt like commiting sucide more then any time apart from this year. When i mean alot, many stuff has happened to me this year and just recently when i thought i was getting back on my feet, something happened and its just brought me back down. I don't know if this will keep carrying on through 2008 but i know 2007 has been a real struggle for me. Im lonely, depressed, finding it hard to deal with college work at the same time with everything going on. Im quite religious and tired of my life. is there anyway i can get god to listen to my prayers and for me to get closer to him?

Lee: Let me say first that I am sorry you are having such a difficult time. Pour your heart out to Him, Lee. Give Him all your disappointments and hurt, and trust that He will take these burdens from you. Things happen in our life that are out of our control, but God is always in control. He knows what you've been through, the struggles you've faced and will face, and He wants very much to help you. Just trust Him with those things you cannot fix yourself. God bless you, and I will be praying for you.

Lovingly,
Virginia

you need to get close to god, not the other way around. God is always with you...listening to you. He or she will not give you anything you cant handle. Trust in your god and know that there is light at the end of the tunnel. He/she listens to all prayers and gives you what he/she feels is best for you. Life is a learning experience. Take something from this experience, find a place in your heart for healing, and look up towards god. Put your faith in him. Good luck. Let us know how you are doing.

It's not a matter of getting God closer to you, He's ALWAYS close to you. It's a matter of you getting closer to Him.
