Can you substitute buttermilk for sour milk?

i would say yeah you can because in recipes sour milk is a substitute for buttermilk. you sour milk by adding some lemon juice if that helps any

I'm not 100% sure what sour milk is, but I would think you can since buttermilk is on the acid side.
