I believe evil is a concept created to frighten the beejaysus out of people so that they go to church and put money in the coffers .
People do bad things, but I don't believe it's because they are intrinsically evil, or affected by evil forces. I think it's part of the human condition.

When the RSPCA in the UK goes on a campaign trail, now that the new animal act has been passed by the Labour Government, to target the disadvantaged and elderly.
They are no longer the helpful charity. They will gladly take your donations, but given the chance they will instigate a procecution against you.
I know, I used to work with them.

jadore7 & stripes have the answer and I agree. The only real evil is deliberately doing harm to someone.
r0ll1ngm...Is really saying the same thing as you don't actually have to physically hurt someone to do them harm.

Nothing.
There is no such thing as evil. It's just a word people apply to something that they personally don't like or approve of.
This is why one man's evil can be another man's good; it's all subjective.

Hypocrisy is evil.
Like when someone insists that their beliefs are the only 'true' ones, and then also deny others the freedom of choice.
(see 'turn the other cheek' and look at Christian America and the West killing those who dare to have their own ideas)
