I've been seriously dating this guy for 8 years and we have been thru some very rough times. We are both addicts and I'm also an alcoholic and just when I start doing well, I screw up. I've been very depressed and bored lately and I haven't been able to see my bf much 'cause he moved back home to TRY to stay clean. We both got very drunk last night at his friend's house. I remember him being physically and verbally abusive. I have black and blue marks all over my body and a huge open gash on my back. I do remember hitting him hard but I know it was because he hurt me. He claims I hit him first but he is way stronger than me. That's not even the worst. I was dancing and he pulled down my bra and showed his friend's my breasts. He informed this morning because I blacked out that I had sex with him and his friend at the same time and the "threesome" was all my idea. I know I can get kinda horny when I drink and HE KNOWS THIS! Shouldn't he have stopped me? (Continued)

Instead, he let another guy use me. I don't even remember any of it. He didn't even have the decency to make the guy use a condom. Did I ask for this because I was acting slutty? I mean, even if I did initiate all this, shouldn't he have intervened and told me to knock it off and not have another guy have sex with me! It's humiliating and I feel so betrayed, used and even suicidal. I'm so scared of losing this guy. He says he won't dump me but his friends are going to be bragging about him and possibly calling his girlfriend a whore. I'd take it all back but I don't recall a thing! I just want him to love me. I am preety and when I'm sober, a very kind, loving person who wouldn't do anything like that. What's your opinion on all this? Could he possibly love me? I know ohe was drunk too but he wasn't in "black out" mode! I'm shaking really bad and I'm so scared. If peoplle ask me if it's true, should I deny it? PLEASE HELP ME! WHY DID HE DO THIS?????

The question you should be asking is why are you in this relationship at all.
Take a step back and take a look at your question. "Was I raped by my boyfriend?"
Isn't there something wrong with being with a person who will even go remotely NEAR a place where you have to ask this question???
Get help for your dependancy. And get out of this unhealthy relationship. You can't prove he raped you, but anyone who would put his hands on you and share you with his friend doesn't respect or love you.

You knew how you get when drinking, you are responsible for your own actions. On the otherside of the coin hes a lame excuse for a boyfriend, I really fail to see any love in your question.

I think you are both at fault.
He is wrong to hit you even if you did hit him first-he does NOT respect you and you are wronging yourself that you take his abuse
Even if you did suggest a threesome when you were totally blitzed, he should not have taken advantage of you, let alone have his friend join.

Yup, i might strongly advise talking to the police. in case you think of you have gotten had your drink spiked (very very uncommon, yet it does take place), then they could be bale to locate it on your blood.

Yes it was rape. You need to get out of this relationship..and despite what people think...addictions are most times out of your control, you need to seek help. Please be careful and leave this a**hole.
