I'm guessing for you this is a blinding paradigm???
Easy concept for those who are visually and mentally impaired...when you die...if heaven and hell exist...you will know...if heaven and hell do not exist...you will know...
As in you will know the truth either way and of course it will be too late to say...oops...

Heaven is most certainly a myth. Anyone who says otherwise either equates myth to falsehood or is deluded. It is a myth in the sense that is accepted uncritically, without evidence. Does this mean heaven does not exist? No, but no myth is more correct over another.
You are right - the only way we will find out if there is a heaven is if there really is one. I equate the chances of that, though, to finding out leprechauns exist.

Our minds is capable of looking back the past and predict the future. We may say heaven is a myth, same as our forefathers who fought for their grand grandchildren is a myth. Only those who have been from heaven knows where heaven is. Those who do not believe there is heaven may stay to believe there is no heaven, anyway there is still spaces on earth to live.

Pascal's Wager, first Answerer?
Christians sometimes proffer Pascal’s Wager (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pascal%27s_wager ) suggesting to non-believers that they should accept Jesus (per John 3:16) as some sort of insurance policy against hell, just in case it turns out god really exists. The fallacy with this line of reasoning is that faith in god for some reward or to avoid punishment is no faith at all. It is a selfish act to receive something in return for a belief. The whole point of religious belief is so that one can become a better person or achive spiritual enlightenment, not to receive a reward or please a spiritual being.

I think if you view yourself as a Spirit being living a human existence, then it is easier to conceptualize death as simply a change in view for your Spirit. Your Spirit, the electromagnetic energy essence of who you are, remains the same, whether it is housed within a human body or not ... it is a function of quantum physics, really. Energy is not lost, it merely transmutes into a different way of being.

Death is the great equalizer. While I prefer not to drop the "dead" bomb, we will all find out the truth ... or not as you say ... when we die.
For those who believe in an afterlife, we assume the next life is the great adventure. If not, why does it matter?

You will find out after you die. So, if you never want to find it out before your death, why don't you make full research about this topic before your time of death?
