Two quotes from the Biblical Jesus where He acknowledges that God is the Creator of male and female.

Mark 10:5-6
5 And Jesus answered and said unto them, For the hardness of your heart he wrote you this precept.
6 But from the beginning of the creation God made them male and female.
(KJV)

Mark 13:19
19 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the beginning of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be.
(KJV)

Tylertxan -- I am not asking you if you believe or not. I am asking already believing Christians to admit that the Jesus protrayed in the Bible believed in a literal Creation.

Even as one like you who rejects the Bible as truth, can look at the text and agree that the Jesus portrayed here thought God created them Male and Female from the beginning.

You are correct! There is no room for compromise on the issue of creation. He did it or he didn't. If he did create the universe, then he certainly has the ability to communicate to us how he did it, when, and how long it took. Another problem with the compromised "theistic evolution" position is that the bible says man brought death into the world through sin. Evolutionary theory says that death brought man into the world through survival of the fittest. It is time we all acknowledge that it is one or the other. We need to ask ourselves: How big is our God anyway? Mine is big enough to create this place without the haphazard trial and error of evolution.

Answer: Yes, Jesus Christ was present and active in Creation.

While Genesis 1:1 states, "In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth," Scripture shows that the second person of the Godhood, Jesus, did the actual work of creation. Colossians 1:15-16 says of Jesus, "He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him." John the Apostle says of Jesus, "All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made" (John 1:3). The writer to the Hebrews attributes God the Father as saying to His Son, "You, LORD, in the beginning laid the foundation of the earth, And the heavens are the work of Your hands" (Heb. 1:10). Jesus accomplished the work of creation. He is preeminent in all of creation, along with the Father and the Holy Spirit, as the Creator.

Evolution, on the other hand, begins with a hopelessly illogical premise: Nothing+chance=everything! The evolutionist has no scientific evidence, so he says: "you must assume by faith that it somehow occured." What created the matter and energy to create the universe?
The law of probability states that "random impersonal chance does not produce complexity, only greater chaos."

Therefore, I believe the biblical account of creation by a Creator. Besides which, there are lots of other examples in the Bible where a scientific premise was mentioned long before modern day scientists found out it was true. Personally, I'd trust God over a scientist any day!!

Of course Jesus was the Creator, and what a beautiful thought. He both ceated us and died for His creation.
John 1:1-14 (KJV)
1 ¶ In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
4 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
5 ¶ And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Wow. Several statements are made in this passage that make it absolutely undeniable that Christ is not only Savior, but CREATOR.

1 - The passage is referring to "the Word." Verse one tells us that the Word is referring to a being. ("The Word was WITH God and the Word WAS God.) We know that Christ Himself was the Word. The Bible tells us that as well. In fact, it tells us in this very passage. Look at verse 14. (He was God's Word in the flesh.)

2 - So we've established that Christ is the Word. It says He was God and with God. (part of the Trinity) Now verse three tells us that The Word, Jesus Christ was the Creator. Still speaking of the Word, it says that ALL things were created by Him. That couldn't be any more clear.

3 - It's already made so clear, but the chapter goes on to affirm it again. Verses 4&5 make it once again undeniable that the passage is talking about Jesus. They're describing the Savior. Verses 6-14 do the same thing, speaking of John the Baptist and his ministry of preparing the way for the Savior.

Here's another great scripture supporting the doctrine of Christ as Creator.

Colossians 1:12-17
12 ¶ Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.

This passage, just like the other, really speaks for itself, as all of God's Word does.

There is no independant confirmation that Jesus actually existed, simply the biblical stories which should not be used or counted for proof. (Vested self interest). That fossil records exist and are easily confirmed by looking at them is unquestionable, that the fossil records over millions of years give a fairly clear signal that species change, evolve, come to dominance, and die out--is in a scientific sense--unquestionable. Genetics, biology, geology--all support the evolutionary view. It is for everyone to make a choice of thier own--one world requires magic and suspends causality--the other acknolwedges that matter and energy have fundamental properties--and that everything is controlled by these fundamental properties. What is true on earth will be true hundreds of light years from here. As for me--I believe that we evolved.

We were created, obviously. Jesus taught this as well, since He once stated, "Since the beginning, God created them male and female [speaking of Adam and Eve]." Notice He didn't say, "After millions and billions of years, God created them male and female."

Genesis was written as history, just like Exodus, just like I Kings. If you want allegory, go to Psalms or Song of Solomon. People only say that Genesis is allegory because they want to force it to agree with their evolutionary theory, that we evolved from pond scum and hydrogen gas. This, to me, takes far more faith to believe than the Bible.

Humans have two genders, male and female. Some other species do not, for example earthworms and bees.

I do not see how creation and evolution have to be mutually exclusive. I believe that God created the world and all that is in it, including evolution.

He created all there is in six literal days and rested on the seventh.

We are NOT the product of evolution!
