Basically Jesus spent a lot of time telling people that their traditions were the lies of Satan and that as religous hypocrites they were going to Hell. I have noticed that that does not go over too well on here.

Matt 23:14-15
14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation.
15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
(KJV)

Matt 23:27-28
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.
(KJV)

Ms. Lady -- you read a lot into this question. On the contrary I accept Jesus as both my Lord and Savior.

There are a lot of misconceptions about who Jesus was, and what His message was...escpecially from the Religous Community.

Well, He was crucified, was He not? There would be people that would reject His teaching today just as some rejected it in His day, and if the skeptics in His day crucified Him for it, I am sure the skeptics on the yahoo moderator board would do everything they could to get Him to keep to Himself. However, because He was God incarnate and His wisdom is infinite, I am sure He could find a way to spread His teachings without getting violations. Even though He was crucified, His accusers had to concoct false evidence against Him to make it "legal" for them to do so.

Today, we are more worried about hurting someone's feelings instead of teaching the truth. And others are offended when the truth goes against their "beliefs" and "traditions". Jesus was not afraid to preach the truth and neither were the apostles. The early Christians were persecuted, killed and thrown in jail for teaching the truth all because other people disagreed with them and the scriptures.

The same holds true on Yahoo. You can use scripture and teach the truth all you want, but the minute someone is offended, they cry "foul". However, if you teach what the Bible teaches, they are not disagreeing with you, they are disagreeing with the Word of God.

The Bible is not "politically correct" and those that teach the truth do not need to be "politically correct" either. If you teach the truth with love and understanding, you have done your job. If you are not accepted for teaching the truth, then it is not you who has a problem.

"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Timothy 3:16

Well He certainly did not mince His words, modern celeb style. But it must be said in all instances, particularly the ones you quote, His judgements were directed at those who felt self rightous, and who were known for judging others. He is not recorded at having entered into long senseless arguments, and He persued the truth rather than insult for the sake of it. I don't think He would have gotten suspended, unless there was a malicious movement aimed at achieving just that. (which I do not rule out, He sure did elicit a lot of anger, especially because he attacked the not so obvious wrongs).

But since many of His teachings are not popular today (sin for one, let alone hell) he would have gotten a lot of thumbs down.

Notice some of the ideas brought up in those quotes: Hypocrisy. Taking advantage of others. Propagating hurtful ideas to people of other lands. Trying to look genuine to cover up these hurtful ideas that you have. etc. etc.

These are actions and traits that are wrong with humanity, with Christians, atheists, and people of ALL faiths.

Jesus wouldn't just come on her and just start criticizing people of "bad" religions. And he wouldn't do it in a way that is hurtful. He would simply point out, in a truthful manner, the problems with the way that people here are acting. And he would offer ways for you to improve.

Nothing he said would be discriminating against certain faiths or nationalities. If Jesus got banned, it would be because people are so closed minded and afraid of changing themselves that they would ignore what he said and instead take out their hatred upon him.

Ohhhh confident . . if Jesus have been given at right here and pronounced something on the subject of the great number of non-scriptural Roman Catholic gobbledygook that's so cosseted and defended - Yahoo customer Care might slap a contravention observe on Him on the slightest bleat from somebody "religious". (inspite of each little thing, His written word isn't known, so what might He comprehend?)

Jesus would receive some 'thumbs up' and some 'thumbs down' and some 'best answers' - in time, his answers and wisdom would grow in stature with those reading them.

In more time, the answers would show the way to create a whole new world, where peace and harmony reigned.

Such is the Power of Wisdom and Love - Jesus personified.

Yes he probably would, because there are way more non believers on here, or there seems to be. Jesus never preached about the burning hell with Satan tormenting people. The hell he speaks of is the grave and the lake of fire, which is the second death.

I imagine that the Pharisees probably would have been avid users of the "report" buttons here. It Yahoo Answers had existed back in the days of Jesus, I suspect that the "report" buttons would have said "Stone the Heretic!" instead of just "Report it".

see, here's the beauty of jesus: he can say whatever he wants and gets away with it, cause no one knows what he's saying. If you phrased everything the way he did, you can get away with pretty much anything, cause the good folks at yahoo would spend about 2 days just translating what you wrote. for example:
"verily I say unto all ye bastardios, and all ye bluod sucxing harlots, I witeth cometh back unto this planet henceforth solely to disparrage you frometh liking other religious-entitious, becausith mines be-ith the one verily right one. furtherunto-hithero, each-otherith oneth sux-ith the bikcus dickus !
