If it's food poisoning, you're probably better off letting your system clear it out. If you're dry heaving, then sips of ginger ale to help settle the stomach (it's the ginger), nibble on saltines to help get something back in your system, and drink some pedialyte to help you get re hydrated.

I had a case of food poisoning a few weeks ago and wound up eating saltines, pedialyte and ginger ale for 3 days. (I was back to work in 2, but just couldn't bring myself to eat anything)

maximum possibly it is foodstuff poisoning. the shortcoming of urge for foodstuff the subsequent day is in all probability in uncomplicated terms a effect of having a prior due meal. The eggs might have been a dash previous. The muscle discomfort isn't generic of foodstuff poisoning, yet while it is getting extra powerful so quickly, this might properly be a stable sign. Chills are an illustration of a hiking fever. in case your fever is below 103 F, save an eye fixed on it. If it is going over that, bypass to the ER.

If it is indeed stomach flu, the best thing you can do is let it run its course. In the meantime, however, you may want to see if you can keep some pepto bismol down. I'm just getting over a stomach flu and I took some to settle my stomach and keep me from vomiting. Good luck!
