Chickenpox is transmitted to others by direct person-to-person contact, by droplet or airborne spread of discharges from an infected person's nose and throat or indirectly by contact with articles freshly soiled by discharges from the infected person's lesions. The scabs themselves are not considered infectious.

It's extremely contagious yes, you can transmit it by touch as well. The only good thing about it is you can only get it once.

I think you have to be in direct contact with someone who has it to get it. Third person, not so much. Not positive though.

yep you can carry it and not get it, you are infectious for two weeks before you get the spots and don't become un infectiouse until the spots dry up
